Follow These Steps:
If you or a loved one need medical attention from our clinic, the first step is to call our office. During our normal business hours, call 614-442-7610 to speak to a staff member directly to coordinate your visit. Please have the following information available:
- Date of birth
- Home address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Location of injury on the body
- Circumstance of injury
- Date and time the injury was sustained, and
- any other injuries.
You will then be asked to email 2 to 3 clear, well-lit photos of the injury from different angles, from both close-up and further away, for triage purposes. A physician, either Dr. Donaldson or Dr. Sieffert, will reach out to you shortly after with instructions for definitive management.
Our surgeons’ fee will range from $1000 to $1300, due at time of treatment. Insurance will not be accepted at this time.
Basic Laceration Care
If you are bleeding, apply light constant pressure for 5 minutes (don’t peek). When bleeding subsides, apply a clean, moistened gauze (moist paper towel if gauze unavailable) to the area and wrap or cover as necessary.
If bleeding does not subside, please do not wait go to your nearest emergency department for immediate care.
Important, Please Read:
This suture clinic is not suitable for serious injuries involving multiple body areas, very large or deep lacerations, and any injury with uncontrollable bleeding. If this describes the nature of your injury, please go to the nearest emergency department immediately. If you are unsure of the extent of your injuries, your plastic surgeon may recommend seeking out the closest emergency department during your initial triage.
Finally, we ask that if you or your loved ones have any signs or symptoms of illness (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat), please utilize the nearest emergency room or urgent care. As a precautionary measure, we will be taking forehead temperatures at the time of arrival.
