Tatjana's Signature DF Treatment

Tatjana begins by applying a custom blend of skin serums chosen for your specific concerns. She then uses two specialized wands: iontophoresis and Sonophoresis (sometimes only one, depending on your skin). This is followed by the introduction of an alginate mask made from algae that hardens to about a quarter-inch and drives hydration, plumping and nourishment into the skin.

Patients with reactive skin, including those with rosacea, often find the mask especially calming.

Pushing active ingredients deeper into the skin helps make it more responsive rather than reactive. Most patients’ skin is deficient in nutrients like vitamin A, which depletes simply from daily sun exposure. But skin that’s properly nourished with vitamin A, vitamin C, peptides and antioxidants is less prone to reactivity and better prepared for other medical skin treatments.

The heightened absorption occurs and peaks throughout the 90-minute treatment, and the skin’s enhanced channels stay open for up to 8 hours afterward. Following your at-home regimen during this window helps extend the benefit of deeper product absorption.

No. The DF Treatment involves no pain or discomfort. Tatjana has found that many patients find it relaxing enough to fall asleep during the session.

The DF Treatment takes 90 minutes, which is a little longer than a standard facial. This is to allow time for the full serum application, device work and mask process.

Most patients benefit from a series of 6 or 12 treatments, depending on their skin concerns, existing skin quality and how quickly they want to see results.

Treatments are typically scheduled once a week, once every two weeks or once a month, and package pricing is available on both series to support patients through a full course of treatment.
