    Editing

No need to worry about a few mistakes here & there! Send us the full video — you already look incredible, so we can just edit out the “umms” or pauses.

1) Framing & Camera Angle:

  • Place your phone vertically
  • Set the video to “portrait mode, if possible
  • Position yourself centered in the frame with a little space above your head.
  • Keep the camera at eye level — avoid extreme angles.
  • If you don’t have a tripod handy, rest your phone against any stable surface to keep the camera steady.

2) Lighting — Natural Light Is Best!

  • Sit facing a window (but not with the window behind you).
  • If using indoor lighting, make sure your face is well-lit and avoid harsh shadows.
  • Avoid recording in dimly lit rooms — we want to see your natural radiance!

3. Smartphone Settings & Technical Details

  • Resolution: 1080p (or higher) for the best quality.
  • Focus: Tap on your face on the screen to make sure you’re in focus. Portrait mode is great for this!

4. Audio Tips

  • Record in a quiet space — turn off TVs, fans and any background noise.
  • Speak clearly and at a steady, natural pace.
  • Take your time! You can make as many attempts as you’d like. We’ll always use the one you are most comfortable with!

5. Background Considerations

  • Choose a clean, clutter-free background.
  • Avoid overly busy backgrounds that can distract from your message.
  • A neutral-colored wall or well-organized space works great!

6) Send It In & You’re Done!
