JÜJ Digestive Bitters

JÜJ is a dietitian-designed digestive bitters that uses organic ingredients and 3rd party tests for contaminants and gluten verification < 5ppm (it is fully celiac-safe). It’s meant to be taken directly on the tongue or in a bit of water before meals for therapeutic digestive benefits. It can also be dropped into a mocktail for a gentler benefit and as an alternative to alcoholic drinks.

Digestive bitters can aid your digestive health in many ways. Below are the symptoms that digestive bitters can address:

- We specifically recommend cacao bitters after meals to help curb these cravings.

- We recommend exercising caution in those with severe GERD
We do not recommend JÜJ in cases of diagnosed severe gastritis, hiatal hernia, peptic ulcer disease, kidney stones or gallstones. Please check with your provider if you are pregnant and/or breast feeding.
Digestive bitters can also support detoxification and is especially recommended for those going through liver supportive protocols or general mycotoxin or heavy metal detox. The enhanced bile flow support from digestive bitters aids in drainage.
dosage
For Those New to Bitters
- Start with 3-5 drops on the tongue or in a few oz. of water before or during 1 meal per day (ideally before for the most support with digestive secretions).
- Follow this dosage for 3-5 days.
- After tolerating the above dosage for 3-5 days, increase toward therapeutic dosing as tolerated.
- If you are more sensitive to bitters, only take a maximum of 1 mL 3 times each day.
- If you are tolerating the digestive bitters well, use 1-3 mL 3-4 times per day as tolerated.
For Children Over 2 Years Old & Under 100 Lbs.
- We recommend 2-3 drops and up to a maximum dose of 1/2 dropperful (or 1/2 mL).
- Children over 100 lbs. may take the lower end of the above adult dosing (1 mL 3 times per day).
For Those Who Struggle with Day-Long Bloating
- Take 1-2 mL of bitters in a small glass of warm lemon water.
- Consume on an empty stomach as soon as you wake up.
For Those Who Don’t Enjoy the Taste of Bitters
- Take 1-3 mL of bitters at one time in a mocktail.
- Or place the bitters into a bit of sparkling water with lime to drink right before meals.
