Juvéderm Volbella is a dermal filler that contains hyaluronic acid to add volume to your lips and is used to smooth wrinkles and fine lines. It is a single treatment that helps in smoothing vertical creases, improving the appearance of the lip contour, and achieving the right symmetry. Volbella uses Vycross technology to have a cross-linking impact on the gel that is injected into the lips. This treatment can improve the cupid’s bow of the lips and treat marionette lines.

This dermal filler contains a hyaluronic acid based gel that helps in plumping the lips. This acid is made naturally in the body, though production slows as you age. It has a moisturizing effect that gives the lips and the face a youthful appearance. After cleansing the treatment area, this gel is injected in different areas of the lips depending on the aesthetic that is being achieved. After treatment, your physician may advise you to protect your lips with an SPF-based lip balm if you are exposed to the sun. Saunas and steam rooms should be avoided for two weeks. There is minimal risk of swelling or bruising, but you can use an ice pack to relieve swelling should you experience it. Also, it is recommended not to partake in any additional treatments in the lip area for at least one week.
