7 Useful Tips To Give You More Youthful-Looking Lips

1. Lip filler

Lip filler is one of our most popular treatments, with thousands of patients having had received their lip filler treatments from our office. Volume in lips is a hallmark sign of youthfulness — as we age, we lose this volume over time. Lip filler is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a protein compound found naturally in our bodies. This substance is an excellent building-block for restoring lost volume in the lips, and can even allow us to create youthful-looking lips that will compliment your natural features. We tend to be give you a more conservative, natural treatment, especially if it is your first treatment. We can always add more filler with a touch-up!

2. Botox “Lip-flip”

Have you heard of a lip-flip? This lesser-known injectable technique has recently become a desirable alternative for those who are not interested in traditional lip fillers. Rather than adding volume, the Botox lip-flip instead relaxes the orbicularis oris muscle, allowing the top lip to relax and unfurl. “Flipping” the top lip slightly outwards this way results in a more noticeable projection of the cupid’s bow and upper tubercle (the small, rounded middle part of the upper lip), which gives the lips a fuller-looking appearance. Results can vary with the lip-flip, but it often is a good way to try out minimally-invasive techniques for more youthful-looking lips.

The Replenisher acts like a combination of hydrating serum and lip plumper, and there is a slight minty, cooling sensation when applied. We couldn’t recommend the Youthful Lip Replenisher more!

5. Glo Skin Beauty’s mineral lip gloss

Glo’s mineral lip gloss has a luxurious, creamy color and beautiful shine. This mineral gloss glides on lips easily, and actually hydrates your lips as you wear it. Glo’s lip glosses are great on their own, but are very effective on top of lipstick and lip liner to offer extra impact and shine! This is one of those must-have makeup staples that we recommend carrying with you wherever you go!

6. GrandeLips Hydrating Lip Plumper

The GrandeLips Hydrating Lip Plumper is our favorite plumping product. If you are not familiar with what a lip plumper does, it helps to stimulate visible projection and provide a plumping effect to provide fullness to your natural lips without any stinging or burning sensations. The GrandeLips formula moisturizes, smooths, and improves firmness. These hydrating glosses also come in a wide range of colors, including reds, browns, pinks, and clear.

7. ZO Exfoliating Polish

Exfoliation is an important part of maintaining youthful-looking lips! A fan-favorite from renowned medical-grade skincare line ZO Skin Health, the Exfoliating Polish uses microdermabrasion crystals to finely and gently remove excess dead skin cells from the skin’s surface layer. This makes it an excellent option for providing a youthful glow to the lips, as well as your face, neck, and décolleté. We recommend using this polish as your lip exfoliant because it is gentle, has a wonderful aroma, and will leave your lips looking soft and smooth.

7. Lip lift
